Without Goodbyes
Alfred x Reader
The American watched as the (h/c) haired girl played with the waves by the seashore. He admitted it to himself that she looked absolutely adorable with each move that she made while humming a song that she heard from the radio the other day. However, there was a certain feeling deep down inside him that he just couldn’t shake off.
He knew it. Deep down, he knew that taking her out of the hospital without her doctor’s consent was a horrible mistake but who was he to blame? Her operation was going to happen tomorrow with her living chances hanging on a 50/50. Yes, people would call it being selfish but every person has to spoil himself once in a while, right?
“Alfred! What are you still doing there?” She shouted catching the attention of the rather melancholic blond. “Oh, nothing. Just enjoying the view of you from here!” He answered with a grin, causing the girl to slightly blush. “Fine, whatever. You’re wasting your time sitting there!” And with that she resumed playing tag with the waves.
____________ smiled happily when the waves rolled around her feet. She did it. She wasn’t able to show him that she was growing exhausted. Taking a glance back at him, her smile faded away. Alfred had his problematic look all over again. The reason why she agreed to this was because she wanted to see him smile and flash the toothy grin of his at her for the last time. ____________ knew that her chance of surviving the operation tomorrow was impossible that’s why she wanted to spend her last moments happy but, no, not in the situation they were in.
She looked up ahead to the horizon, noticing the slowly changing color of the sky and the movement of the sun. It was breath-taking. “Hey, ____________, what are you being all worried about?” A cheery voice asked as the (h/c) haired girl turned to the person surprised. “Alfred… When I die… Will it be like this? Will you be watching me from a far with that look of yours?”
Her words caused a million swords to pierce through him. She was thinking the same thing as he was earlier. “What are you talking about dude? Of course you’ll survive the operation.” Alfred assured looking at her petite figure while her gaze still remains to the slowly setting sun. She took a deep breath before looking up at him with a smile. “Yeah, of course I will.”
“And besides, you have the hero! And heroes always help those who are in need! That’s one of the reasons you’re going to make it ____________!” He exclaimed arms stretched out wide. The girl just let out a giggle at his childish attitude. “Thanks, Al… For being with me this far.” She stated before sitting down the sand, causing her dress to get wet with the water.
The feeling Alfred had in his chest began to grow. Was their time running out? “____________, are you still… okay?” He asked as her (e/c) orbs looked up at him innocently. “Yeah. I’m still okay.” She replied. The American sighed and took the space beside her, not minding his clothes getting wet.
Another lie told… ____________ thought clenching her hands to a fist beneath the waves and the sand. Her heart began to pump faster all of a sudden and despite her attempts to calm it down, it just won’t. “H-Hey… Al…?” The addressed looked over to her immediately, as if missing one second would have been a curse. “What? Is something wrong? Does your chest hurt?” He continued to ask, worry written all over his face.
She shook her head as a response. “I’m just… a bit exhausted you know…” She answered feeling the pain slow down. In exchange for that, her body suddenly began to feel weak, and she was becoming light-headed. Slowly, she leaned on his shoulder while watching the sun set in front of them. “Al, can I sleep on your shoulder for a bit?” She asked as the blond smiled at her, showing agreement. “Thanks…” Alfred watched her eyelids slowly close. “I wish we could be like this…” She mumbled not seeing the tears that were slowly forming at the corner of the pair of baby blue eyes. “I wish so too ____________...” He kissed her softly on the forehead as a tear successfully fell down to his cheeks…
A few moments passed and the sky was painted with the colors of lavender and pink. Stars and constellations were starting to appear above them. Taking a look at his watch, the American slightly shifted his position and placed a hand on the girl’s shoulder. “____________, wake up. It’s time to go back to the hospital.” He shook her a bit but received no response. “____________...?”
He gulped back the lump that was forming in his throat as he placed both hands on her face. “____________, dude, it’s time to go back to the hospital… Come on…” He cried, tears starting to stream down his face. “____________, please wake up… This isn’t a funny joke…” He pleaded only gaining the sound of the waves as an answer. “____________... Why didn’t you say you were leaving?” He asked pulling her cold body close to him.
The waves continued to crash to their bodies like little kids. Kids who still were too young to understand what was going on. The pair of blue eyes looked up to the sky and the stars twinkled with glee, not seeing the broken man who was crying below them. “Why…?” He sobbed having shortness of breath from all the crying he made. “You said you’d make it ____________... You said you will…”

“Hey dude!” A blond American greeted in front of a carved gravestone in a memorial park. He sat down in front of it, settling a bouquet of (fav flowers) between them. “Happy Valentine’s Day!” He knew he wouldn’t get a response but he smiled as though he had one. No, not coming from the inanimate object before him, but from ____________ herself.
He looked up smiling and leaned backwards, his hands as a support. “I’ve missed you a lot you know. It’s been quiet around my place since you left… Yeah, Arthur and the others are trying to cheer me up so don’t worry, I think I’ll recover soon… But that doesn’t mean that I’ll forget about you though. Of course I’ll keep on visiting you. A hero is supposed to be making all of the citizens happy, remember?”
Alfred chuckled as a gentle breeze passed by. “I hope you’re watching over me ____________...” He mumbled, standing up from his position. “Sorry if I won’t be able to stay long for today. There’s a world conference I have to attend to again. Ludwig and Arthur might scold me for being late. I’ll come back for you again later, okay? Bye ____________!” He waved and started to run to his car.
In front of the place where the bouquet was left, a faint figure of a (h/c) haired girl possessing (e/c) eyes and (s/c) skin sat. A smile on her face as she watched the American leave.

Today was JUST AMAZING I GUESS! Why did it have to be today of all days of the month. Alfred, my husband, said he had some surprise for me but apparently my period started today.
Ugh, well anyways I needed to check on (c/n) who was DEFINITELY in need of a diaper change. I took (c/n) into their room and lied them slowly to their changing table. Time for the hard work to go down!
Taking off their diaper I started to smell the most TERRIBLE scent ever but held my breath and removed it, throwing it in the trash can. Oh no, but (c/n) was still dirty. I tried

My Hero (AmericaxChild!Reader)
Thunder crashed, trees were tapping against the window. In the shadows they looked like menacing creatures. You, being a child, were terribly afraid of this. Reaching out to turn on the lamp on the nightstand next to you, thunder crashed again, causing you to whimper and retreat your arm. Quickly, you grasp your stuffed bunny, and run out of bed.
It was quite terrifying since it was dark (not to mention the suspense atmosphere that made your little child imagination get you to think a monster would come and eat you).
"I'm so scared." You whimpered as you tightly held onto your bunny. Carefully, you walked through the dark hall, using the wa

"Hiya!" America exclaimed as he threw a knife at the bullseye. "Hahaha!" He made it just at the edge of the middle. It was his birthday, the 4th of July. Just a few hours ago he had somewhat of a tummy ache from his brother Canada's birthday yesterday. But it was the afternoon now and here he was already, drinking beer and throwing knifes and shooting airsofts.
"America, why must you always do this on your birthday?" Canada asked his brother as he picked up his AK47 airsoft rifle and loaded it. He aimed for the bullseye and tore it apart, losing his aim after the first few shots and letting i
